Turns out, Angelina's imaginary friend isn't so imaginary after all... Angelina's Friend is a short story that shows the conflict from Angelina's childhood that comes out in her high school years in the novel Angelina's Secret.
I read Angelina’s
Friend after reading the book it prequels, Angelina’s Secret, so I already knew what was going to happen in
the future. However, I really enjoyed being able to get a peek into Josie and
Angelina’s past, and reading about the events that led to Angelina’s
counseling.
Angelina’s Friend
spotlights Josie, and how she reacted with Angelina when Angelina was a child. Angelina’s Friend is just a glimpse into
the two characters’ lives, but it gives readers lots of information without
slowing down the pace, and if I had read Angelina’s
Friend before reading Angelina’s
Secret, I know I would definitely want to read the book to see what happens
next.
Whether you’ve read Angelina’s
Secret or not, check out the short prequel story, Angelina’s Friend today. It gives you a peek back into Angelina’s
childhood, and will definitely leave you wanting more, and will give a taste of
Lisa Roger’s writing style.
*Though I intern for Spencer Hill, my review was not swayed in any way. The thoughts portrayed in this review are my own honest opinions.

I was looking through my blog reel, and I saw this book review and immediately clicked on it not knowing whose blog it was and just being excited to see a book I might be interested in reading. Of course it was on your page. ::Scowl:: Your blog is too good. :)

Sounds good! I think I'd have a hard time reading a Prequel after I'd already read the book.
